Bookings are still open for this year’s annual fundraising event “Ask an Architect” organised by the Royal Society of Ulster Architects (RSUA). Northern Ireland Architects are offering you the chance to have a 1-hour consultation in exchange for a small donation to charity.
If you’re looking advice on a new build, what is needed for planning permission or building control, the options for a renovation or extension or anything related to developing a property then we would love to hear from you.
Ask an Architect is not only for residential clients – if you are considering work on your business premises you can go through Ask an Architect as a way to realise your ambitions and give back to your community.
You can book a 1-hour consultation with a chartered architect and ALL the money goes The Jill Todd Trust.
We can hold consultations via a video call on Zoom/WhatsApp/Messenger or hold an in person consultation after lockdown has ended.
What is the minimum donation?
£40 is the minimum donation but you are welcome to donate more!
About the Jill Todd Trust
The Jill Todd Trust was established in 2011 by local architect, Barrie Todd and his wife Trish in commemoration of their late daughter Jill, who at the age of 23 tragically had her very active, talented and personable life taken by cancer.
One of the main accredited objectives of the Trust is to raise funds to assist medical research to find a cure for cancer.
‘Ask an Architect’ was devised by Trish and Barrie as an effective means of raising funds, with support from Northern Ireland Architects, to support cancer research in Northern Ireland.
How can I book a consultation?
You can support The Jill Todd Trust in partnership with Friends of the Cancer Centre by booking here
If you have any more questions about the event you can drop us a line on our online contact form.
